    8 months ago I was a bag of bones knelt over a basin being violently sick from the effects of chemo after being diagnosed with cancer for the second time! Last night I ran out at #Wembley for the club @officiallydale that I hold dear to my heart! Proud of the boys 💙 I owe u 👊🏽

    Let me just confirm! #TWICE means I'm in complete remission!! Simple terms I'm cancer free 🙌🏽 Extra Time & Penalties but THOMPSON 2 Cancer 0

    This is a prime example, of why there should be more emphasis and focus on developing players mindset and mental resilience. You don’t just lose your ability over night but what you can lose is the confidence to showcase your ability because you’re not mentally in a good place.

    Ill put it into context.!!! 9 months ago.... I could barely walk, had lost two stone! No hair after chemo and was starting my first day back at work! Thanks you to everyone associated to @officiallydale for helping me through my battle! All part of the plan hey gaffer?😂🤦🏽‍♂️

    The morning after, now it’s all settled down. I’d like to dedicate that goal to every person who has been affected by cancer especially the ones that are going through it now! There is always a glimmer of hope! Hold on to it keep your head up and remain positive 💙🦁💪🏽

    4 1/2 years #Cancerfree! 💕 Just got the call from my specialist! I am a free man. A day that I have longed for, for 8 years man. No more scheduled check ups 😊 I made a promise to my nurses, I’d make some lifestyle changes and that I wouldn’t need them ever again. 👊🏾 🌱 🧠

    #RipDrePhoenix We lost our baby boy on Wednesday night. His heart stopped beating the day before we brought him into the world. A scar over our hearts that will never heal. We will one day find peace in our pain and the strength to rise again. But now we must grieve 💔♾
