Dear Kenya Kwanza blowhards. I know my interview today blew away your bubble about terrible & unpopular housing ideas. Calling me an Azimio supporter is not even half as smelly as your Housing Levy Slush Fund. Just grow up!

Folks, so where did Kenyan policemen in Nairobi get the idea that they can walk into small restaurants in Upper Hill area , demand to see licenses and then ask to be served lunch at the owner's cost?

While we are in the moment, maybe we should ask for a referendum on what size of government that taxpayers should bear.

Folks, if someone is trying to convince you that you would receive a maisonette or flat in Nairobi for Kshs. 2400 per month, then he's betting on your being dull-witted. And if you believe him, then you are.

Folks, we must should be honest. None of the nominees who appeared for vetting in parliament throughout the week demonstrated command of the work they would need to do. We have difficult days ahead.

Folks, I have just started perusing Kenya's Finance Bill, 2024. And you know that parliament is being asked to enact incoherent tax policy that would impose VAT on bread while exempting helicopters of same tax.

Folks, used to describe this Kindiki guy as a genius. I tried to listen to him today and I came with the view that either KK blowhards use the word 'genius' too liberally or he woke up from the wrong side of his mat today. I remain unimpressed by the title of prof.

These KK blowhards are tone deaf. A lifestyle audit suggests to me that you think Kenyans envy your made to measure suits. Not me. I just want you all to declare your tax returns publicly every year. That aside, keep wearing your neon colored suits.

Folks, let's remind judicial officers and other office holders that they shouldn't take oaths if they are unwilling to make big decisions. You don't have security of tenure just to be door mats of the executive.

Folks, how does a sane being say that affordable housing is the cure for government failure in flood management when people who afforded their own homes d cades back are swimming inside their houses?! What's our national IQ again?

🧵Folks, my unsolicited advice to people who tag me with invective, drop DNdii's & some GoK grandees' names, ostensibly to impress. 1. It is too late in my life and even later in the age of human thought to think that using the term "Mjaluo" on me is insulting. Be wise jowa! 1/N

Folks, if you voted for Jubilee and expressed your triumphalism, then you should be polite when asking me to explain GoK tax policy to you. Don't rush into my mentions while calling me names. Be humble!

Folks, the consensus among protesters in Kenya shows that citizens have declared that the tax burden that parliament may impose tomorrow is excessive. Their eloquent argument is that the state is too large. Trim the state.
