- It’s with heartfelt sadness… …that we pay our respects to Dave Smith who has passed aged 74. Dave made 406 appearances in 10 years - he had the distinction of scoring City’s 100th goal (at Stockport) in the record breaking season of 1975/76. RIP Dave - best wishes to family.
