Htet Myat Aung, a 19-year-old student, was killed in Pyay, Bago Region on Saturday morning after being shot twice in the abdomen. At least three others were also severely injured as soldiers and police used live ammunition to disperse student protesters near Pyay University.
Myanmar junta forces arrested a famous young model #PaingTakhon at his home in Yangon’s North Dagon on Apr. 8, said his sister. Denouncing the military coup, he took part in protests since February. The junta sued him under article 505a of the Penal Code.

Police and soldiers use rubber bullets and slingshots against #anti_coup protesters in #Mandalay on Monday afternoon. The security forces violently made arrests and some civilians were shot and injured. Journalists reporting on the event were also beaten by the security forces.
Regime forces stormed homes in Yankin Township in Yangon and abducted at least 10 civilians at gunpoint in pre-dawn raids on Sunday. The raids followed three explosions at a General Administration Department office in the township where troops were based.
