- 8th Grade Student Spotlight: Emily Escobar is a very witty person, makes good grades and loves to dance! She plays the trumpet in Honors band, misses her friends, and can't wait to get to Travis HS in the fall!

- 8th Grade Student Spotlight: Jack W played basketball and tennis for Bowie. He also won Grand Champion Goat Showmanship at the 2019 Fort Bend County Fair and swims year round for First Colony Swim Team. Jack is a member of NJHS and is headed to Travis HS in the fall.

- 8th Grade Student Spotlight: Ashley Gilberg is in NJHS, Theater, & Choir. She loves singing and performed in Pinocchio and Into the Woods at Inspiration Stage in SL, and was selected to star as Gertrude in the JBMS Musical - Seussical. Ashley is headed to Travis HS in the fall.
