- Really glad that all of the Japan Airlines pax and crew seem to have survived the crash. But I'm not surprised to hear that it was an orderly evacuation. JAL is able to board widebody aircraft in 10-15 mins as pax are so considerate. Also JAL plays this every safety briefing:
00:00 - Replying to @JTGenterAfter 45 minutes of this crap, I negotiated an extra 400 EGP ($8) plus $3 in addition to the Uber fare (which climbed to 500 EGP = $10) In order to get to the airport 🙄 In all, a fair enough price for the ride, but just absurd that this seemed to be the only way.

- Replying to @doodlestein and @UberYep, it's absolutely exhausting. I'm sure this is no issue if you're used to it, but it really wrecks my experience when in places where this is common.
- Replying to @MeatBun_33Seriously. The video is masterfully put together, showing both the wrong and right ways to evacuate the aircraft. Incredibly memorable - which is why I remembered to have my phone ready to record it!
- Replying to @NewsomCAUber is the one setting the price. And drivers quickly accept at the rates, so the algorithm doesn't know to increase the price. If drivers don't want to accept the ride at the price, they have an extremely easy way of signaling it: Not accepting the ride at that price 🙃
- New: @AmericanAir just unveiled its new Flagship Suite - including doors! Seats will be installed on all Airbus A321XLR and Boeing 787-9 deliveries starting in 2024. Plus, the 777-300 will be retrofit with these new seats starting in late 2024. Also, new premium economy seats!
- This is so embarrassing @AmericanAir. The signs make it clear that you knew that these seats were broken, yet you're choosing fly paying passengers in them while having non-revs and an empty seat in first class. Reaffirms my decision to switch away from this shitty ass airline.
- Replying to @JoshLeibner and @Uber💯 Uber has got a monopoly so many places that they don't even try anymore. And the local government has no issue with it as it is extracting more money from tourists for locals.
- Today I got to fly with the world's oldest flight attendant, @AmericanAir's Bette Nash! After more than 61 years in the sky, she's still flying 3x trips a week. And, she's an absolute gem: thepointsguy.com/news/flying-wi…
- It's finally happening! After wanting to fly this product for years (but waiting to do so until we could get the full experience), we are finally flying @AmericanAir Flagship First Class on the 777-300ER! Snagged seats 1A and 2A too!
