    At the beginning of this week I didn’t in anyway anticipate that I would end it as a widow. Mr P died on Friday morning. We are devastated. Our hearts are breaking. Thank you to all of the staff at the PRUH @KingsCollegeNHS especially ICU who were so caring & gentle with us all.

    I know everyone’s minds are full right now but if you’ve a tiny space to offer up some positive thoughts for Edith, my MiL, I’d be so grateful. Taken to A&E yesterday, tested positive & discharged back to her care home. We can only hope for the best & prepare for the worst.

    This evening we said our final goodbye to our beautiful Bob. She was 19, a grand old lady, and it was time to let her go. We had 15 years of joy, unconditional love & loyalty.

    All governors do need to understand that just as all teachers are teachers of SEND all governors are governors of SEND. Having a named link governor doesn't absolve them of the responsibility. #ukgovchat

    Today would have been Christopher’s 37th birthday. Sadly it’s 11 years since we lost him to suicide. We went down to @SissinghurstNT on Thursday to visit the orchard planted in his memory. A beautiful, bountiful & peaceful legacy.

    Morning spent observing admin of #sats2018. Children relaxed & happy. Tests without a hitch, not one toilet visit! Elsewhere what a palaver of keys, safes, cupboards, lockers in cupboards, boxes, bags in boxes, bags within bags, lists & labels. Chamber of secrets level security.

    Once again evidence that my work is done. My girlie returned from a sojourn in her home in the North (glorious York) bearing the ultimate prize for me - a delicious Fat Rascal straight from @Bettys 😋
