Greatest Gator baseball player ever in my book. Caglianone has hit 74 homers in his career and 67 over the last two years. Mind-blowing stat: He’s hitting .5 homers PER GAME over the last two seasons. That’s pacing for 81 in a 162-game season.

Ejecting an unruly coach is a part of an umpire's duties and I don't think anyone is arguing that. But for Angel Campos to choose today, a national title elimination game, to have tissue-paper thin skin, is nothing short of pathetic.

Mind-numbing stuff from 2028 righty Striker Pence. The 16-year-old’s (!!!) first three pitches were 100, 100, 101.1, per Trackman. There’s a very large crowd gathered for this outing. Not exactly hard to imagine why.

This pitch is something else from Kade Anderson. 83 mph, 3,264 RPM and a 16-inch drop. The pitch before it was 95 mph fastball with just under 20 inches of IVB. The shapes coming out of Anderson's hand are jaw-dropping.

Billy Napier deserves a ton of credit. This season looked bleak to start and it seemed like an inevitability that the Gators would move on. This team has played inspired ball ever since its first bye. Year four has been earned. A lot left to prove but he deserves to be back.
