- As a math teacher of 20 years, let me tell you what's actually failing our students: You gutting the Department of EducationProblem #1: We’re teaching remedial math to college freshmen. Problem #2: 25% of them can’t answer a basic question. Our education system has failed our students long before they reach college.
- Big news: The DFL has provisionally endorsed our campaign for Congress! I’m honored by this early show of confidence. With Democrats across southern Minnesota united behind our campaign, we can put all our energy toward defeating Brad Finstad and delivering for working families.

- The Supreme Court cut 1,000+ Ed. Dept. jobs because the President said so. As a teacher of 19 years, I know this will hurt students. We should be bringing more talented staff into education, so that students who walk our public school halls can thrive in the classroom and beyond.
