- Supporting the steel industry must go hand in hand with rebuilding our nation's industrial skills base - including training the next generation of welders, fabricators and skilled tradespeople. Without them, we lose out on major infrastructure opportunities.
00:00 - Unexplained decisions erode trust. While the US can revoke entry permissions, these powers should be exercised with clear reason, not arbitrarily. I hope these cases are resolved, true to the original promise of the World Cup being an inclusive event.
- My constituent has had his ESTA revoked without explanation ahead of the US FIFA World Cup. He has a clean record, adequate security clearance and a history of lawful US travel. I’ve written to the Scotland Office requesting urgent help resolving this case as soon as possible.

- 11 years ago today, the Highlands lost a much-loved and greatly trusted public servant. Charles Kennedy. Charles understood his Highland constituents because he was one of them. Everything I do today, I hold up against the standard Charles set. He is not forgotten.
- Banking hubs are an excellent system in place of countless bank closures. However, we need to hit the nail on the head with a solution which guarantees access to banking services, not just cash. The Government needs to update the Financial Services and Markets Act urgently.
