    Laz may have gone too far this year. The reverse loop 3 climb up the new “meat grinder” was absolutely nutty. Time for us all to level up. Thanks for the adventure and happy to come away with a fun run. #bm100 #barkleymarathons

    This was a fun one. Congrats to @courtdauwalter and all 300 participants who took to the backyard format this weekend. It took a global pandemic to create this special format this year. It was a lot of fun and really inspiring stuff in the best wacky niche sport of ultra running.

    We didn’t know it at the time as she was moving so well, but here are the last few strides of @courtdauwalter’s 2020 Colorado Trail attempt. This was at mile 309 on the edge of Twin Lakes near Leadville.

    That’s a wrap on the 2019 edition of the Barkley Marathons. Happy to come away with my third Fun Run in five attempts here in 39 and a half hours. Honestly I was hoping for more, but that will have to wait for another year. We were treated to warm and dry weather on loop one and

    A little taste of the trail loop at #bigsbackyardultra on one of @courtdauwalter’s final loops in the daylight hours yesterday. This was close to 240 miles in to her effort. @SalomonSports
