    My servers made $750.00 each last night. One didn’t want to tip the busser/dishwasher more than $20. Needless to say, I have a job opening. Being a good person and a team player is just as important as being a good worker. @TableBoston

    If I open my restaurant at 25% capacity, I’ll make more money doing takeout. Less overhead, less staff. Not sure if other restaurants have done the math, but opening may not even be OUR best option. We’ve been lucky with takeout success. “Don’t fix it if it isn’t broken.”

    I found out that my 26 y/o dishwasher is homeless. His mom & stepdad moved to SC and didn’t take him. I drive him to North Station to catch the train, but apparently he’s been sleeping there. 💔 Well, he has a home now. And he made two new friends. Be kind. It won’t kill ya.

    An older gentleman was eating by himself @TableBoston — My servers kept saying, “We feel so bad. Nobody is talking to him.” I was cooking downstairs, but trusted my guys to finish the duties, went upstairs and sat with him. This is Norman. My new BF.

    UPDATE: My boy Truman beat the odds! His tumor came back BENIGN! The vet said they’ve never seen a spleen tumor that size come back benign. He’s out of throat surgery and resting in his oxygen crate. He’ll be home tomorrow! Way to go, buddy!!!! Fuck you cancer. Not today.

    UPDATE: Truman will have his throat surgery tomorrow and spend another night in the oxygen crate. @MspcaAngell sent this picture of him clearly pretty knocked out. ♥️ You got this, Truman!!
