    Wanted to tweet about this last night Amazing bit of 1v1 defending by Stones Always coached my defenders that you can’t attempt to engage until you’ve matched the wingers pace Exactly what he does, delays, slows the attacker down then times the tackle Proper defending

    Been thinking about pressing and trying to clearly define the framework to when we press. This is what I have come up with Triggers + distance = when to press Angle of press = how we press and what we want to achieve Just a first draft, thoughts and comments welcomed!

    4 box possession game Team in possession attempts to play pass into one of 4 boxes. Players should support the box play to receive back into the area. Hit all 4 corners to score. Ball cannot be played back to the original passer (multiple support required!) @TacticalPad
