    WHAT.A.DAY! Today I was blessed with being named to the highest coaching position their is...DAD! Emme Eilis Breen arrived at 1:30am today after a stubborn Irish battle with induction. Mama defined the #WWACD attitude and I couldn’t be happier.

    Attention parents of college kids: If you want them to pay for next year‘s tuition, send them to Umpire training school immediately when they return home this summer and they can work every single day all summer long and make an absolute killing. The umpire shortage is real!

    Don’t just read the title. Read the article and quotes. If you DON’T want your kids coached to act like winners when they win or lose, then YOU have no business being involved. I coached against Mike & he has always been a respectful competitor. Hope people do the right thing.

    I’m sorry but can we eliminate the word “Uncommitted” from in front of any player younger than Class of 2023?!?! Let’s call them what they are...FRESHMEN IN HIGH SCHOOL! I’m well aware the landscape of recruiting has changed, but let’s not put unnecessary pressure on KIDS.

    WHAT.A.DAY for #TeamBreen Shea Elizabeth Breen was born at 6:16am weighing in at 7lbs 12oz. Big sister Emme awaits her double-play combo at home. Mama once again showed us what it is to be a CHAMPION. The whole squad is ecstatic about the new roster addition! #WWACD

    My father who currently lives in Naples, FL and is a ‘61 St. John’s Prep grad and in the Athletics Hall of Fame had this response 8 minutes after getting word on our first round matchup: “Flight booked. See you in 48 hours. Go Mansfield.” #family #WWACD #Super8

    The biggest problem in youth baseball right now is not arm injuries or “launch angle swings”. It’s pitchers keeping their hat on pitch to pitch.

    Dear HS Athletes, you NEED to be the one communicating with your coaches. It's tough to have a true/positive relationship with a player when you only hear from the parent. Parents, when there is something that needs to be relayed to the coach, teach your child how to communicate.
