This was a moving moment from last night's Dave Van Horn press conference. I get rivalries and all, but I don't know how you can't root for the man. He gets it.

Her journey has just started. She's going to be a nurse. She's going to help save lives. Like others on this team, future nurses, doctors, teachers, coaches, they're going to help others in their journey. It's why we should never lose "college" in "college sports."

Norah Sis on her journey at Creighton: "I was 15. I didn't know what I was getting myself into. ... I'm just going to miss it so much and I'm so thankful that I got the opportunity to play for Creighton." Sis finishes 2nd all-time at CU in kills and points. @KETV | #GoJays

"Nebraska is the villain in its new conference." For wanting to play football. Not for having a team doctor who molested athletes. Not for housing and employing a pedophile. Not for mistreating players due to race. For wanting to play football. What a time we live in.

Nebraska predictably retreated on going rogue against the B10. Waging the fight might not have been a bad thing tho sports.yahoo.com/why-nebraskas-…

Lost in the Indiana-Penn St pylon controversy is the fact that if that had happened in the Nebraska-Ohio St game, the Huskers would have been flagged for targeting.

It'll take 100y before Nebraska develops a hatred of a B1G rival that matches this one.

This is some great poise by Jamiya not to shove back when Diarra pushed him. A lot of people would have shoved back, but Jamiya has a game to play tomorrow. Diarra has a date in front of his television.
