4 Core Offensive Principles: 1) Make Quick Decisions 2) Create & Keep Space 3) Share The Ball 4) Make The Easy Play What you run & how you play is not the same thing. Methods are WHAT you run. Principles are HOW you play. Focus on principles first, and methods second 🧵⬇️⬇️

Continuous 2v1 drill that we use to warmup called "Cardinal". The faster the ball moves, the easier shot you will get.

5v0 to 5v4: great way to rep sets and work on transition D/O - shooter on white team stays, other teammates transition back - blue team enters on the shot and attacks in transition with an advantage - O goal = find and use the advantage - D goal = extend the play

"4v4 Touch" is a drill that we use to work on using advantages once they have been created. Essentially it is 4v4 shell until coach blows whistle. At the whistle, on ball D must touch spot behind ball handler, and ball handler must drive it - from there it is live play

The faster you play, the easier the game gets. A defense in transition is a defense that is compromised. Attack them. Want to get your team playing faster? Check out the thread below🧵

Want to run better practices? Simplify and use fewer drills. Here are six different "drill starts" that can work from 1v1 to 5v5.

Incredible set from Wyoming MBB to create a driving gap • Empty PNR + pop creates the driving gap • Note the driver's starting space - high and wide - ready to sprint into his catch • Corner to corner cut and weak-side lift moves all the available help

Michigan layups: a drill we use to start practice and get warm. Each made layup is worth +1. Go to 15. A missed layup, bobbled catch, travel, or turnover sets score back to 0.

"The most open you will ever be is when you first catch the ball" - Jay Wright Good offensive teams never waste a closeout. Playing off your jump shot puts constant stress on the defense Keep it simple: • Space = Shoot it • No space = Drive it • Drive stopped = Share it

Nice BLOB from Mike White (Florida) - trail and give up a layup, go under and risk giving up a 3pt shot
