- Alabama’s Grant Nelson just blew the field out of the water with his shuttle run. Notched an unofficial 2.58 second mark, which would be the fastest time in the history of the NBA Draft Combine if it holds. The previous best time was 2.64 seconds by Malcolm Brogdon in 2016.
00:00 - UNC’s RJ Davis was the most experienced guard at the CP3 Elite Camp and it showed. Really advanced at creating separation to get into his pull-up jumper. The consensus First Team All-American has a chance to take the crown as the Tar Heels’ all-time leading scorer this season.
00:00 - Duke’s Tyrese Proctor showed encouraging signs of progress at the CP3 Elite Camp. Knocked down shots, facilitated with poise, and used his size to his advantage defensively. Looks to have added some strength to his frame. Mature game, but still just 20 years old.
00:00 - Tennessee’s Igor Miličić Jr. has agreed to an Exhibit-10 contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, I’m told. The 6’9 ¾" Croatian-Polish forward brings coveted two-way versatility and earned both PIT + GLE invites. Nice UDFA pickup for Philly, ranking 70th in the final DX Top 100.
- Iowa State’s Milan Momčilović stood out at the Tatum Elite Camp with his combination of size and shooting. At 6’8 ½" with a buttery release, he was able to get his shot off over just about anyone at the camp. Had a really long stretch holding the court in one-on-one action.
00:00 - Incoming Duke freshman, Kon Knueppel, had a very productive all-around showing at the Tatum Elite Camp. Rained down threes, finished through contact, made smart cuts, kept the ball moving, and was rock solid defensively. Projected mid-1st round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
00:00 - NC State’s Mohamed Diarra has agreed to join the Los Angeles Lakers for NBA Summer League, I’m told. The 6’10” French big man is a hellacious rebounder, plays with great energy, and really stepped up his game in March to help fuel the Wolfpack’s ACC + NCAA Tournament runs.
- Lincoln Memorial’s Elyjah Freeman has quickly established himself as the most intriguing prospect at the Division II level. The late-blooming 18-year-old freshman wing is averaging 18.6 PTS, 8.7 REB, 2.1 AST, 1.4 STL on blistering efficiency w/ very high-end athletic flashes.
00:00 - Yuto Kawashima has committed to Seattle in the class of 2024, I’m told. The 6’7” Japanese forward has been developing w/ the NBA Global Academy and playing NBL1 w/ the Centre of Excellence this season. A staple of Japan’s youth teams in FIBA Asia Cup and FIBA World Cup events.
- Pitt’s Jaland Lowe turned some heads at the CP3 Elite Camp. Broad-shouldered, long-armed lefty guard w/ shifty crossovers, advantage creation craft, and evolving pull-up game. Poised for a sophomore leap w/ Bub Carrington off to the NBA.
00:00 - Tennessee’s Cameron Carr looked poised for a sophomore leap at the Tatum Elite Camp. Looks to be in incredible shape with cut shoulders, long arms, and a wiry strong frame. Responsible for some of the most memorable highlights of the camp, hammering home several emphatic dunks.
00:00 - Getting eyes on projected top-ten pick, Anthony Black, here in Chicago. A lot to like w/ his combination of size, feel, playmaking, and defensive instincts/versatility. Working diligently to fine-tune his jump shot.
