With Michigan’s win, and a guaranteed Big Ten team advancing in the East Region, the Big Ten has multiple teams in the Sweet Sixteen for the 12th consecutive year, the longest active streak of any conference.
Best conference in the country? Just asking for a friend.

- You're never too good to forget about the fundamentals. Simple passing drills, a focus on footwork, communication and free throws at game-day shoot around for @umichbball. Might seem basic to some but more necessary than you can imagine.
00:00 - Purdue....wow! Matt Painter has been masterful this season adapting to a go-to star and maximizing the use and potential of a variety of role players. Made great adjustments after their first meeting earlier this month. The fearlessness & confidence of @BoilerBall is infectious.
- The B1G may not have as many teams as normal in the tourney this year but the Purdue win makes it the 11th consecutive year the @bigten has had multiple teams in the Sweet 16. That's the longest active streak.
- A few weeks ago I was ranting that @MSU_Basketball got a raw deal and a bad draw. Today the narrative is a little different. Duke got the bad draw. Discipline, experience, toughness, accountability and tireless development can overcome a lot. See you in Minneapolis, Spartans!
- No way anyone would have predicted a @BoilerBall beat down against UVA. Purdue grew up a lot tonight. Mackey and the @ThePaintCrew have more to do with that than you might think. Environment provides a crazy amount of confidence. That place never disappoints.
- Purdue is a joy to watch. The ball moves quickly, they cut and screen hard and play good team defense. Like good pancakes, it’s a simple recipe but it requires a full buy-in to those principles (over self interest) which often only comes from older teams w/great chemistry.
- Made it to the airport just in time to catch this.... No words can describe the emotions a player, coach, @MSU_Basketball and family are experiencing in these moments. @cassiuswinston is a gem of a player, an inspirational person and a true leader.
00:00 - The @MSU_Basketball Spartans deserve more attention for what they are, and less questions for what they are not. We like to give hype to talent/stars but fail to recognize good teams and programs who come together to compete at a high level.
00:00 - .@umichbball just beat the #2 and #8 ranked teams in the country in consecutive days. Did it pretty handedly too. Hard to find a hotter team in the country. Great on both ends. Congrats to Beilein and crew.
- Holy smokes. No need to panic. OSU and MSU are very good. Lessons learned now will be what makes PU a true Final 4 contender. Two losses (to really good teams) and people start jumping off the train. Call me if you need a hoops therapist. Just breathe. Good grief. It really is simple: if Purdue plays as capable it will go far. If not, round 2 at best. These last two games were concerning because we saw bad Purdue. Still time to fix it.
- Congrats to @BoilerBall and @MSU_Basketball on a B1G title. Each an impressive run for their own reasons. Equally impressive to win with only 4 losses in the best conference in the country and 20 game conference schedule. Champions are made of the physically and mentally tough.
- Congrats to @PennStateMBB on the NIT Championship. They are proof that how you're playing as of late should be considered by the committee. These Nittany Lions have grown to become legitimate B1G contenders next year. The climb doesn't stop here.
- I was criticized a couple weeks ago for saying James Palmer Jr. is first team All Big Ten. Frankly, how is he not? Straight up winner. He's a pro. #Nebrasketball
