    Football is full of snakes, liars and blaggers. The proper people are ones that tell you straight, whether you like it or not and don't trample over you for their own gain. Sniff out the dogs. Keep the good ones close, they are rare. If you think I'm on about you you're right

    Want to make a public apology to the referees assistant from yesterday's game against Margate. We questioned an offside decision and said we would review on video which we have done and he was absolutely spot on.

    Please don't think that non-league is the same as on the telly and run on the pitch putting hands on players and staff or it will get long for you

    Young footballers please learn to speak for yourself as early as possible. It is not a good look being 18 and your dad is managing your moves and speaking to coaches/managers on your behalf.

    I played football for years and I have never enjoyed myself more than when I was a young man playing on a Sunday morning with my pals then going down the boozer to eat roast potatoes off the bar and drink Guiness & Tia Maria before going to bed at 8pm. Golden times

    For all the young players who have never had to contend with a niggly injury please accept it quickly that once they start you will never be 100% and you have to find a way to play at 90% or 85% fit and be just as good as before. Find a way, don't find excuses

    I watched the first few episodes of this Madeline McCann documentary and one thing keeps spinning my head. Who leaves their kids on their own to eat and booze? Who are these people? My kids would be asleep in a pram or I would be in the room with them, nothing inbetween
