- The 1st Amendment is truly dead to them. @HouseJudiciary Dems actually wrote this in their hit job on @FBI #Whistleblowers, yet no one in legacy media called them on it: "No law protects" those presenting their "personal opinions" to Congress.
FBI whistleblowers, @ShellenbergerMD and I were derided as not “real” whistleblowers/journalists, accused of profiting from testimony, called conspiracy theorists and insufficiently deferential to the FBI, and said to have disqualifying beliefs: open.substack.com/pub/taibbi/p/i… - So the @nytimes calls the promotion of the IRS whistleblowers “unusual.” I’d go further. It’s unprecedented. Elevating whistleblowers to senior leadership like this has never been done before that I’m aware. For those that don’t get it yet—that’s a good thing.
