- A personal update. My wife’s 2 plus year battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer has evolved into more home care. I have a wonderful therapist who encourages the balance between being at home and time at @KFAN1003 to be with my very good friends. I so appreciate all of you
- After nearly 4 years of grieving, I asked myself about the kind of life I wanted. I have a wonderful woman in my life who has answered those questions. Karin Nelsen, the executive VP and Chief legal officer of the Vikings is that woman. Thanks to my kitty Willow who “found us”
- First Christmas without Denise, her favorite holiday to celebrate with family and friends. She always came up with the most thoughtful, original gifts. It’s the little things that hit me square between the eyes, a Xmas song, her favorite winter coat, cookbooks. It hurts, a lot
- Karin has brought pure joy back into my life and heart. I’m ecstatic she said YES! We are blessed with wonderful families and friends to share in our present and future together
- Sometimes you just have to vent. My wife is having surgery today to remove a brain tumor. It was discovered in a blink of an eye. “When you see how fragile life can be all else fades into the backround.” Support the Brain Injury Alliance of Minnesota.

- So honored the @Vikings asked me to sound the Gjallarhorn to honor my late wife Denise as part of their “Crucial Catch” campaign on Sunday to intercept cancer. It will be emotional and inspirational
- Ya that’s really Carlos Santana at Wolves game before his show at XCel tomorrow night. Ok this is cool.
- My heart is full of gratitude for all the love in this time of grieving. “Trust that everything will be okay but that doesn’t mean everything will be restored. Look around and look ahead”. Looking forward to being back with my @KFAN1003 family on Monday
