Bridge inspections have begun on the George Rogers Clark bridge. Engineers are using a snooper truck to initially assess conditions under the deck. Daytime inspections will also take place tomorrow. The bridge is still closed to traffic.

Engineers have begun an initial inspection of the sidewalk & railing of the Clark Memorial Bridge in Jefferson County using drones. A physical inspection is needed to assess conditions above & below the bridge, & will occur when the scene clears. More: lnks.gd/2/2tjVtTr

Some great news to start the week - the George Rogers Clark Memorial Bridge painting project is done one month ahead of schedule! All lanes reopened at 5 a.m. today. Thanks for your patience & partnership throughout the project to help us renew the vital downtown bridge.

Three salt 🧂 trucks stagged at KY 841 South outside the East End Tunnel entrance at 1:20 p.m. in Jefferson County. We are reporting an air temp. of 31.92 and pavement temp. of 36.58 at the East End Crossing. 🥶Thank you @TRIMARCTraffic for the picture. #knowbeforeyougo @LMPD

We have worked through the night to make sure you arrive safely at your destination. The interstates remain wet with some icy spots, particularly on the ramps. We will have a shift change for our contractors at 6am so they can continue to treat the roads into midday. 🧵

3 Days Early 😎 I-71 South in Jefferson Co has reopened ahead of schedule following a needed resurfacing project. Crews worked hard to complete this vital work and to deliver a smoother, safer drive for motorists. Thank you for your patience during the closure. Drive safe!

A blade is replaced on a plow at our Jefferson County East Barn in Middletown overnight. About 30 salt trucks just from this barn worked through the night plowing and treating 🧂 the interstates. @TRIMARCTraffic #KnowBeforeYouGo @LMPD
