- Not sure what actually was said, but Mr. Singh - standing in the aisle - may have suggested he and Mr. Poilievre take the Conservative leader's insults outside the House of Commons. Mr. Poilievre got kinda pale and slunk into his seat. He left the House shortly thereafter.
- Interesting dynamics in the House of Commons today: Conservatives have moved a motion of 'non-confidence' in the Prime Minister and the government. Everyone else in the House is essentially demonstrating non-confidence in the Conservatives and Mr. Poilievre.
- The only thing 'lost' in ten years of Liberal governments was the Conservative Party's sense of honour and decency.
- Mr: Poilievre says: (first in a series) - 'Trudeau doubled housing prices'. No, the free market did when cities stopped building enough houses and investors started buying them up. Housing prices also doubled during Mr. Harper's time as PM...for the same reason.
- No grace, no class...rude, uncivil, and nasty. Welcome to today's Conservative Party of Canada.
- Suspicions confirmed? India helped Pierre Poilievre win the Conservative leadership? But of course, 'CSIS did not share this information with Mr. Poilievre, the source said, because he does not have the necessary security clearance'.
- Mr. Poilievre says: He won't get security clearance because that would 'gag' him from speaking about the information. So, he'd rather make stuff up and not know what our security agencies know about possible interference from India in his election as Conservative Party leader.
- In Canada: employment up, wages up, inflation down, interest rates REALLY down. Proof...it takes more than burping Mr. Poilievre's slogans to get these results.
- I don't do frequent fact checks on Mr. Poilievre's statements...but it is important that you know his comment that the national dental care plan would force you to give up a private plan is incorrect. If you have your own plan, you get to keep it.
- Watching Mr. Poilievre's rally last night...same-old, same-old. "Blaming and name-calling, sarcasm and insouciance are not substitutes for substance. These are not times for attack-dog politics, of which Poilievre has been a master."
- I see...Pierre Poilievre brings coffee and donuts to protesters honking horns all night outside thousands of Ottawa homes...but when something happens at his government-provided place...well, that's different:
- So the Russians favour Pierre Poilievre....and Mr. P votes against help for Ukraine. What to make of this, eh?
