Kent School is a New England Prep School in Kent, Connecticut. The Boys Hockey program dates back to 1911. 2019 & 2022 Earl/Martin New England Champs
- We are devastated by the news from yesterday and send the most heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to Teddy Balkind’s family. We are also keeping the St. Luke’s and Brunswick School communities in our thoughts and prayers.
- Martin/Earl 2022 Champions! Unreal game by both teams 4-2 win. Goals from Watson ‘22 (2x), Sciabarra ‘22, and Palombo ‘22. Hopewell with the win in net. #EarlMa
- What a ride! So proud of this group! Faced a lot of adversity including starting their tournament life in the face down a goal with 5 mins to go 24 hours ago. Warriors!
- This group of seniors… I’m so proud. The adversity they faced is unmatched. Every single one of them stuck with us and trusted us thru a COVID season in which we played 5 gms. They stuck together and LED, not theoretically but actually LED a group of young men to a Championship
- New jerseys are in! Lions are going to be looking good this year. Thanks to Mr. Meissner for his efforts with these. #WinterIsComing
- Horrible to hear about the tragic accident that took a member of our hockey community. Varsity hockey player at Housatonic Valley Regional HS #20 Marcus Rogers. Our thoughts and prayers are w/ him, his family, and the Housy community and Housy Hockey community. #StickOutForMarcus
- Congrats to 3 year member of the Lions, Library Proctor, academic weapon, advisee extraordinarie, Nick Marciano ‘21 on his commitment to continue his academic and hockey career at @princetonhockey !!!!
- Congrats to Geno McEnery ‘22 on his commitment to Providence College. Geno has 32 points in 19 games thus for the Lions and will look to add to that this afternoon vs. Westminster in Simsbury at 445pm
- So proud of our seniors! This says it all about them. Heart and soul. Bled blue! Josh Stich, Alex Contey, Alex Giummo, Finn McLain, Colin Cobb, Mike Posma, Ian Pierce. Champions!
- Happy Memorial Day! Below is a pic of the Hotchkiss-Kent Memorial Trophy that the Lions & Bearcats compete for yearly in honor of the Kent and Hotchkiss hockey players who lost their lives in WWI & WWII. The names of those fine young men are all listed on the bowl @HotchkissPuck
- The Kent community and the @KentPuck is deeply saddened by the passing of Drew Brown ‘11. Everyone who got the opportunity to know and work with Drew at Kent is better for it. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
- Congrats to @alaf_14! The former Lion and current first year at @HarvardMHockey was drafted #83 overall by the @LAKings in the 3rd Round of today’s NHL Draft! Alex was an offensive leader on the Lions ‘18-‘19 Earl/Martin Championship team.
