    Over 20 years ago, I watched 45 minutes of resuscitation end in silence. The weeks before were filled with subtle symptoms, easy to dismiss. Until they weren’t. That experience never left. It provided #lessons • Not all risk announces itself • Delayed recognition is common •

    I recently covered our inpatient service for a couple of days. The phrase I never use and I dislike hearing: “I’m just covering.” To a patient, you’re their doctor that day. Own the responsibility & privilege. #MedTwitter #MedX
