    6 years ago today my life changed. I was a functioning alcoholic and never thought I had a drinking problem. But after stopping drinking, I realized how much alcohol had controlled my life. I’ve been blessed ever since that day but I still struggle at times with sobriety.

    Through all the ups and downs of the past 365 days I’m proud to say I can celebrate 7 YEARS of being sober. This past year has been filled with intense mental/ emotional challenges. I’ve wanted to reach for the bottle or have that one drink. Thinking it would make things easier.

    Instead there have been insults, name calling and some of the worst sports takes I’ve ever heard. Honestly it’s turned into trash, which is disappointing because the first two games have been great. I’m tapping out of all the trash takes. The fans deserve better from us.
