One of my favorite Chicago streets: Midway Park, on the far West Side. Located north of Lake Street between Austin and Waller.

It’s official-official and I’m told I can spread the word: My #photography book, Southern Exposure: The Overlooked Architecture of Chicago’s South Side will be published fall 2019 by Northwestern University Press. Might kick back with a bottle of rum this weekend to celebrate.

“You can’t go anywhere, you can’t find peace. I think we are falling apart.” — quote from former @Suntimes reporter Adrienne Drell who attended the Highland Park Fourth of July parade today.
