- It's with a heavy heart that I tell everyone that Squeak suffered a relapse with her vestibular syndrome yesterday & though she tried to battle it again, she passed away on my lap this evening. Some people would say she was *just* a cat but for 13 years she was our cat 1/4
- I think Squeak has had a stroke, found her earlier & she couldn't walk, is quite confused & has a tilting head 😥 Vet for her first thing tomorrow but trying to keep her comfortable next to the fire here tonight & she got some painkiller too. My tiny tabby girl 😟

- Replying to @LadyHaywireShe had a great long life here, and loved nothing more than chicken, salmon & sleeping on a lap/on her beanbag/in front of the fireplace. While I'd thought she'd pulled through earlier this week, sadly it was not to be, but I'm grateful she could spend her last days with me 3/4
- Vet appt at 2pm as roads are just about thawed but a definite improvement since yesterday evening so looking more like a vestibular issue than anything else 🤞 She's had more beef broth & some salmon, warm fire beside her & a hot water bottle under her bed to keep her cosy.

- SQUEAK UPDATE 😁 It does look like just a vestibular issue so she's being kept in tonight and will be monitored tomorrow in case she needs a few more nights in vet care but it's looking quite hopeful once her bloods come back alright.

00:00 - I used to wear a silver bracelet from my late Nana day & night. Lost it 2 months ago & didn't think I'd ever see it again. But wasn't my aunt out walking earlier & spotted it on the ground on one of my usual routes!😱 Even more amazingly it was my Nana's birthday yesterday too 🥺
