- Our prayers and deepest sympathy to the family of former long time Lake Athletic Director Bruce Brown. Bruce passed away today after a life devoted to his family as he worked tirelessly to keep interscholastic athletics as an extension of the classroom. Now it’s up to us.

00:00 - Winding down the school year and one of the greatest kids I’ve ever met poked his head in my office and insisted that I walk with him back to his classroom. My buddy Caleb gave me a present on his last day at LMHS, and he made it himself! I’m really going to miss this guy.
- At 12:45 we had a send off at LMHS for wrestling state qualifier Ben Sponseller. At 12:55 we learned the OHSAA cancelled the state championships. And ten minutes after that, I watched a disappointed young man handle it with class. No need to go on the mat. This kid’s a champion.
- Time out to be a proud father, please. Finishing up on 4 years at Pitt as a student, and 4 years doing cancer research at UPMC Hillman Center, my daughter Alexis is headed to the University of Michigan for her PhD in the biomedical sciences program. Keep changing the world, Lex!
- Win or lose, this is the last thing we do before we leave the field. But it sure is nice to WIN! Time to celebrate a big win over Jackson by our boys!
