New wheeled recycling bins are still on the way and will be with you by the end of January.♻️ Collections will take place from the same location your grey bin is usually collected from. So, when your bins arrive, please move them to a non-obstructive suitable location. #recycle

Say hello to your new weekly food waste recycling service and goodbye to food rotting in grey bins! ♻️ This February or March 2026, you’ll receive everything you need to recycle your food waste. For more information, visit our website: loom.ly/oI4cYBI #FoodWaste
Little caddy. Big difference. A woman pours leftovers from a Tupperware container into a food waste kitchen caddy whilst holding a young child on her hip in a kitchen.
A silver food waste caddy with a black handle and lined with a clear plastic liner is next to a kettle on a kitchen worktop. Did you know? 70% of food waste is produced in the home.
A silver food waste external bin with a black handle is presented next to recycling wheelie bins by the kerb ready for collection with a house in the background. Did you know? 28% of the district's grey bin waste is made up of food waste.
What can I put in my caddy? Place any raw or cooked food in your caddy, including the following: Bread, baked goods such as cake and pastries; dairy (such as eggs and cheese); fish (including bones); fruit and vegetables (such as carrot tops, banana or orange peel or apple cores); meat and bones; rice, pasta and beans; tea and coffee grounds; and plate scrapings.

8.2 million potatoes are wasted in UK homes every day - that's 41% of all spuds bought!🥔 Can you help Spud McRoast this December? Use up leftover tatties and store the rest in the fridge to make ’em last 3 times longer: loom.ly/zCBQMqI #LoveYourLeftovers #RoastPotatoes
Most wasted. Spud McRoast. A roast potato in a black cowboy hat looks fearful, clutching a sign that reads: UK homes waste 8.2 million potatoes every day. Love Food Hate Waste.
