    I was taught in medical school that diabetes is chronic and progressive. Look at the improvement in blood sugars in this patient - no medications, just lifestyle! Doesn't look chronic and progressive to me. We need to provide the right education. Join us starting Tuesday Nov 5th

    I am surprised by how many doctors tell me pts can't stick with low carb/keto - my question: have you ever given them the chance? I have tons of pts thriving on it long term. I think many of the doctors think they themselves can't do it, therefore their patients can't either.

    I had a pt this week who is off of 7 medications since doing keto for 2 months. His blood sugar is better than it was with the 3 diabetes medications. His mental health is better than it’s been in yrs. It’s never too late to change your life! I love metabolic health!!

    Just got one of my pts blood work back, liver enzymes went from 100 --> 20, A1c went from 7 --> 5.8 (without using medication) - this is the power of #keto I can't wait to give her a call and celebrate putting her diabetes into remission and also congratulating her on the liver!!

    Talk with your doctor about getting a coronary artery calcium (CAC) score and consider obtaining one before starting a statin. 1 in 2 statin candidates with CAC = 0 will have a revised risk for heart disease below the threshold for considering statins - Fantastic talk by

    One of the most tragic misconceptions about health is that there is a “point of no return”, beyond which meaningful improvement is simply impossible. I’ve seen 80 year olds come off insulin and regain energy they never thought they’d have again. 80 YEAR OLDS!

    🧵Why am I so passionate about Low-Carb/keto? In these 10 patients of mine there was about ~180 lbs of weight loss and 31 points drop in A1c. They felt GREAT while doing this, no issues with hunger, no added medications. This is the power of lifestyle changes #lowcarb #keto

    If I treat 20 patients living with T2D by prescribing insulin, then I’ve made pharmaceutical companies lots of $ If I help 20 patients living with T2D put it into remission, then I’ve got 20 new advocates to help spread the word about what’s possible through lifestyle changes

    Last week I saw a patient who reported after only one week of the ketogenic diet her anxiety and mood symptoms were greatly improved compared to years of treatment on meds. No medication works this quickly. Metabolic health = Brain health. #brainenergy #keto #metabolichealth

    A common breakfast for kids at school is a juice box, bowl of cereal, and toast - this is setting them up for a glucose rollercoaster causing them to be distracted / hyperactive & long term health issues @LoCarbFreshwell

    I had a patient eat mango, banana, oatmeal for breakfast - sugar went from 140 to 352… he was angry when he saw this on his CGM as he was following the advice given to him by his other doctor…

    Oatmeal & Bananas are possibly the worst breakfast possible for a patient with severe diabetes, barely one step above fruit loops
