You often hear the term regime thrown around to describe enemies of the US and communicate how the "regime" in question lacks legitimacy or doesn't represent all of a nation... this is the sort of stuff a regime would say in public, thinking of itself and not the country.

It's tough to disagree considering the Houthis haven't had to face consequences once throughout this whole ordeal. Retaliation should be based on intent, not results. Refusal to respond because lives haven't been lost has been very foolish and allowed this to get out of hand.

The failure to secure one of the world's busiest shipping lanes through the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden from Houthi attacks represents an abandonment of one of the US Navy's traditional roles globally. The USN bears no blame, this is a direct result of @POTUS's refusal to act.
