    Today, we are announcing that we have doubled our AUM @LongJourney by closing a $181,818,181.8 fund. I can’t be more proud of what @cyantist and I dreamed up 5yrs ago. For both of us this business has always been deeply personal. Today I would like to explain why it matters

    People are confused by our "second believer" mission at @LongJourneyVC. Starting a company is lonely. There's this burning belief in something only you can see. What's needed isn't skepticism—it's someone with the curiosity to stand beside you and see what you see.

    At @LongJourneyVC, we talk about being second believers. The truth is, it starts with believing in ourselves enough to stand beside a founder's greatness. This process started years ago, when I started wrestling with how envy was clouding my judgement.

    What's up with all the 18s? In Judaism, 18 is "chai" or "life." October 7th awakened something dormant at my core—a inner knowing of my purpose + what I'm willing to fight for. This fund, with its repetition of 18s, embodies a personal commitment to life and creation and mirrors
