After a man broke into my house and raped me when I was 20, many of male friends got VERY emotional about it and I felt like I was babysitting THEM instead of being supported. Except one who came over, night after night, and slept on my couch so I could feel safe in my room.

He never expressed that he was there to hurt anyone, or made me babysit his anger. Instead, he made sure I wasn't alone, that I had backup if the man came back, and that I was believed. He stayed until my roommate came home from vacation.

Nope, they just don't want to drink alone. Men go to bars with to watch sports together and to drink. Men go to bars to play pool with each other. They did both of these things before women were allowed in bars. By your logic, men were only doing these things to fuck each other.
