I decided to run for Congress not to oppose anyone but to be an advocate for Iowans. As the GOP searches for a candidate, our campaign’s growing. Too many Iowans face impossible choices to build the lives they want, and I am dedicated to being their voice. I hope you’ll join us!

Just off a call with the Iowa Department of Public Health and can confirm that the Governor did NOT consult with her own public health officials before lifting the mask mandate. #COVID19 #ialegis

Today, Iowa's two Senators (@ChuckGrassley & @SenJoniErnst ) failed to vote for a commission to independently investigate the insurrection on January 6, the most direct and violent attack on our democratic process in living memory. We deserve better.

My face after high paid lawyers and lobbyists said my bill protecting mobile home park residents was ‘egregious.’ What is egregious is the predatory business practices of these out-of-state corporations.

Silence fell over the Iowa House chamber just moments ago in acknowledgment of the unfolding situation at East High School in Des Moines. We owe our kids more than silence, thoughts & prayer—thank you to Rep. @akoabdulsamad who left here to be on the ground with students #ialegis

There are more job openings than there are people on unemployment. Let’s name the real problem here— Iowa needs higher wages. #ialegis

Despite the 30+ bills attacking Iowa’s LGBTQIA+ youth— their spirit is not broken. They will not be silenced. They will not go back. And neither will we! Proud to stand along these young people as their ally! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️#ialegis

LET THIS SINK IN— In the public hearing on HF590 (voter suppression bill), written comments reflected the sentiments of Iowans: 1,086—AGAINST 17—FOR The republican controlled legislature is not interested in solving problems. They are interested in maintaining power #ialegis
