- My 6yo son has been talking about needing to do his hair nice and be cute for school so he can “attract females.” I was terrified he got exposed to some alpha male shit. You know what it was? Fucking Animal Planet. He is learning to flirt from BIRD documentaries.
- So, this morning I went into the garage and noticed the attic was wide open. We don’t use it and it’s a heavy panel, so I was freaked out already but trying to play it cool for my kid. But tell me why my 5yo stared straight into the darkness and said “a man lives there.”
- I went viral once for sharing my then-boyfriend’s sleep talking episodes. I still see it circulate on social media every so often. We’ve been together 10 years now, have a kid, and he still terrorizes me in his sleep.
- I’ve always talked to my kid exactly like any other adult. Mostly because it’s hilarious. But now I’m facing the consequences. I feel like I’m parenting an elderly man in a 5yo’s body. He went over and just stood by the window and said somberly “There’s a cold front coming in.”
- y’all do animals know when you’ve helped them 😭 A baby kildeer fell into a drainage ditch and I picked him up from the rocks he was wedged between but now I’m HAUNTED like does he know I helped him or was that a biblical level event in his life did I give him Bird PTSD???
- Man wait until y’all realize that I’m the same person who posted this back in the day 😭 My life has BEEN weird. I got stories for days.
- Bumper stickers for when you’re one honk away from ending it all.
- Did you know? It’s totally safe to eat play dough, as long as you bake it first!
- I breastfed my kid for 5 mos. His weight started dropping. I did everything the doctors told me to do. Bought supplements. Was pumping every damn second of the day. Ended up with more blood in the bottles than milk. I was barely sleeping-almost everyone should be able to breastfeed but they make excuses because they're afraid of their biology, want control over their time, and have no culture that emphasizes how to do it. 99% of mother's bodies and babies mouths are compatible, biologically speaking.Readers added contextAround 70.3% of mothers experienced breastfeeding difficulties, reporting cracked nipples, perception of insufficient amount of milk, pain, and fatigue pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC68….
- Replying to @ComplexNickolasThis is so funny because I constantly accuse his dad of being a crow…. Runs in the family.
