    It was a dream as a child to one day be part of the Tour peloton. A dream that was greatly enhanced by watching the Tour peloton pass by on the Galibier in Valloire. It is also a nice coincidence that in the first week of my very first @LeTour , we get to finish there.

    Q @UCI_cycling @cpacycling, How many riders died, crashed so hard they where paralyzed or where in a coma after doing a super tuck or riding with hands on there handlebars? And how many did because of unsafe roads, motorbikes or unapproved barriers? Can you still count them?

    It was obvious that it will happen: today the protesters caused a crash in the peloton and it could have been much worse. 😪 I know that Intermarché won't say anything but I hope those crazy people will be sent to jail. #LaVuelta25

    3 months of perfect preparation for the @giroditalia. Months of sacrifice away from family. But unfortunately, you don't have everything in your own hands. After the ride, I got confirmation why I had not felt 100% fit since these few days. Covid has got me too

    For the moment I’m not performing on my level. This is because my wife and I got also victims from the floods last week. After couple of days without sleep and not able to life anymore at our proper home, my body and head was not ready yet to perform as I would wish @AlpecinFenix

    Voor de Giro ben je de nieuwe Eddy Merckx. Na de Giro kan je ineens nooit een grote ronde winnen. Misschien iets minder kijken naar de waan van de dag & meer naar het grotere plaatje? Deze jongen heeft vorig jaar alle rittenkoersen (waar gestart) gewonnen op 20 jarige leeftijd

    Bjorg, ik zal je altijd herdenken als een van de meest talentvolle jonge Belgen die ik ben tegengekomen in het peloton.Maar vooral je bescheidenheid, spontane en altijd vrolijke karakter. Op zo een jonge leeftijd al een voorbeeld voor velen. Sterkte aan familie en @Lotto_Soudal
