The Frederick Douglass Tunnel will be a game changer for Baltimore, transforming MARC from commuter to regional rail. Today, I was thrilled to join as @JoeBiden, @GovWesMoore, @arunamiller, @SecretaryPete & our federal delegation announced our funding commitment for the project.

We won $8.8m for @mtamaryland MARC Penn-Camden Connector! This allows us to begin planning for a rail connection btw Penn & Camden Lines, improving operational efficiency, adding train storage, & opens up possibility of Penn Line service into downtown Baltimore in the long-term.

Thankful for protected bike infrastructure as I walk home from the bus stop with my two year old. Improved safety for bikes makes the pedestrian experience nicer too! (And yes, the bike lane needs cleaned - I put in a 311 request)

Good morning from the @mtamaryland 54 bus! I love seeing our bus full of people speed past cars across the Harford Road bridge. Allowing our most efficient vehicles (buses) to bypass traffic helps us to improve travel time & reliability for riders. More bus lanes = better buses!

MDOT MTA will resume its regular weekday service levels beginning Monday, April 24. Light Rail trains will return to operating every 10 minutes during the weekday morning and evening peak travel periods, an increase from the current intervals of 15-minutes mta.maryland.gov/articles/374

Heading to DC this morning and thankful for the @mtamaryland MARC so I can avoid sitting in traffic and save time. Plus I can work on the train and review our North-South corridor feasibility report coming out later this year!
