- We are devastated by the loss of Inspector Adam Turvey. Our colleague, our friend, our brother in blue. Stand down Metro Alpha 23, we will take it from here.
- A male was tasered by #SCO19 officers yesterday in the @MPSHaringey area, when he approached their vehicle and shouted that he had Coronavirus before deliberately coughing saliva all over them whilst also beginning to physically attack them. The male was arrested without injury.
- Whilst on patrol in the @MPSSouthwark area yesterday, #SCO19 officers were flagged down by concerned members of the public who had come across this distressed baby fox. With no sign of its parents, officers cared for it until #TheFoxProject could take over. #NotJustGuns
- As one @metpoliceuk family we are desperately sad to have lost a friend and colleague last night. Our thoughts are with all affected friends and family. We exist to protect London from armed criminality: this incident therefore weighs on us profoundly. We will never forget. #RIP
- Overnight #SCO19 officers used their enhanced medical training to save the life of a new born baby that had stopped breathing. Thankfully the baby began to breathe on its own and was taken to hospital to be checked over. #firstresponders #morethanjustguns
- June was a very busy month with 372 declared spontaneous firearms incidents & 62 preplanned deployments. We gave 85 people first aid, seized 50 firearms & 90 other weapons, arrested almost 200 suspects & helped front line officers with 552 general policing incidents.

- #SCO19 deployed to the @MPSKenChel area yesterday when a male was seen with a firearm outside a block of flats. He was detained a short time later and a firearm recovered. A nearby address was also searched where other firearms, a machete and drugs were found. #ProudToProtect

- Last week senior officers honoured Helen Barnett, former ARV & a female pioneer at 19. During a remarkable career Helen was stabbed, blown up by the IRA & shot in the line of duty. A valued member of the 19 family, Helen now works in support of veterans & former police officers.
