Poor Viv probably thought she could be anonymous at the Dripping Pan today but she was very very very gracious for fans and youth players alike. Incredibly generous with her time and these girls will remember it for a long time.

The joy non-Americans are taking in a US loss is in full acknowledgement of the team's dominance and leadership. It's a compliment. The vitriol from US commentators towards the team is just unabashed toxic misogyny. Team USA - you've still got this.

If we hold a minute silence for each migrant worker killed in Qatar, kick-off will be delayed 20 hours. #FifaCongress

Yesterday was magical and very, very emotional. Beating league champions Liverpool in front of our first ever women's sell-out crowd. Wow. I'm sorry if you were one of several people who I got a bit teary in front of at some point in the day! ❤🖤

It's the 100 year anniversary of the Dick, Kerr Ladies game that saw 53,000 fans and 14,000 more outside trying to get in - just a few months before women's football was banned for 50 years. Raise a toast at 3pm! #DKLadies100

Hey y'all. Just in case you missed it (I did), the FA Cup prize money is out and this season (marking 150 years of the FA Cup's existence AND the 100 year anniversary of the FA ban on women's football) the winning women's team will still win just 1.4% what the men win.

Six years ago today, a crazy little football club called Lewes FC decided to be the first in the world to split revenue equally between its male and female sides. I clicked 3 times and became an owner. I'd like to say the rest is history, but actually the rest is the future 🌟

Just your friendly reminder that the winner will take home £4000 but if they were male it would be £720,000 🙂

This weekend is the 4th round of the FA Cup. Women's teams will win £2000. Men's teams will win £180,000. We at @LewesFC think this should change. bbc.co.uk/sport/football…

Thank you so much for the love everyone. It's a huge huge responsibility, but the club is so special and so so important - I will pour everything into it. Thank you. Better go change the email signature....

Reserve coach is sanctioned for unsporting behaviour towards match officials by being required to coach 10 sessions with the women's team. Since when did women's football literally become a punishment? This is the day to day crap we're talking about.
