    Today the new Pact on Migration and Asylum enters into force across the EU. Europe can now manage migration in an orderly, fair and effective way. Protecting our borders, fighting smugglers, showing solidarity, upholding values. Proud to have contributed to this achievement.

    La frontera española de #Ceuta es una frontera europea. Plena solidaridad con España. Necesitamos ya el Pacto de política migratoria europea: acuerdos con países terceros; una robusta protección de nuestras fronteras; solidaridad entre los EEMM, y una política de migración legal.

    #Eurovision is first and foremost a celebration of European spirit, of our European diversity and talent. The EU flag is a symbol of this. Less than a month to the European elections, there should be no obstacles, big or small, to celebrating what unites all Europeans.

    We were just denied entry to @Eurovision with the EU 🇪🇺 flag. We were told by security it’s “political” and “not allowed”. How could the @EBU_HQ ban the EU flag at Europe’s biggest event? #Eurovision
