- I am not Palestinian. I am a Jewish physician. Some of my ancestors survived pogroms but others did not. We lost cousins to the Nazis but found peace and safety in the U.S. I cannot be silent as Palestinian civilians are punished for crimes they did not commit. #NotInMyNameI'm not Palestinian. I am a Jewish Israeli Physician-Scientist. My people's history is of being excluded, discriminated, exterminated. My parents survived genocide. I cannot ignore the plight of Palestinians, their right to live in dignity, freedom, safety, peace. #NotInMyName

- A friendly public health note: Yesterday, I had a mild scratchy throat and body aches- so mild I barely paid attention- and tested negative. The symptoms persisted so I tested again, and you can see the results. If you’re still ill, test again! Happy New Year!
