The difference between the EPL and the Scottish juniors. West Ham have just posted losses of £28.2m, while vice-chair Karren Brady earned £1.14m. Maryhill Juniors posted record profits of £17.50, while our President Tam is owed six quid for sock tape. Who would you rather be?

Club statement: Maryhill FC will not be joining the European Super League. Background: We haven’t been asked yet, but thought we’d clarify our position. Morally, we’re against it, but financially we might struggle to afford the stationery bill.

Feel the need to clarify something. We have been asked repeatedly if David Turnbull has snubbed Celtic for Maryhill. Yes & no. We are currently in talks with Turnbull, but not the same one. Our DT is a goalie, 42 yrs old, 18 & a half stone and loves rolls n chips & cans of Vimto!

Feel for Partick Thistle and their supporters tonight. How can you possibly relegate a team that is two points behind the team above, with a game in hand, and nine games still to play? An absolute disgrace.

Many clubs have released statements over the past seven days, and with very good reason. But I want to assure Maryhill fans that they won't be left behind when it comes to statements. We will think of something tangible and release a statement this afternoon. You have our word.

On the @PartickThistle website the Jags are inviting fans to contribute to the club. It’s tough with no revenue coming in but players needing paid. We don’t have much but we’re purchasing two commemorative tiles to help a bit. Thistle were there in our time of need #Neighbours

122 years ago Maryhill moved to Lochburn Park. The Old ground has witnessed many battles, but tonight sees a different type as we hold a meeting to see if we have a future. Running a club is far too much work for a small committee and the status quo can't continue 🙏🙏 🔴⚫️

Congratulations @PartickThistle League champions and a HUGE wrong, partly righted. Hope everyone connected with the Jags has a great night. From your wee cousins up the road 😍

Today we cut down a massive bush that was hanging all over the seating area behind the goal at Lochburn and found FOUR match balls! That's over a hundred quid right there. Maryhill FC: saving money since 1884 😆

A valued member of the Maryhill family, Sean Graham, is very ill. Please keep in your thoughts tonight and pray for him. He is very incredibly dear to us ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

Club statement: I would like to assure our supporters - and the wider community - that Dominic Cummings has NEVER made the 300-mile trip to Lochburn. Please don’t believe anything you see on social media. Thank you.

Today we celebrate being 135 years old. Hundreds of people before us have worked hard to ensure Maryhill survived and prospered. We couldn't let this great old club die on our watch. Glad to report we're going in the right direction. Hopefully many more birthdays for the Hill 👊

We would like to thank the Colin Weir Foundation for their incredibly generous donation of £5,000. This money will go a long way towards ensuring we have a bright future. We have also been invited to apply for further funding in 2020. On behalf of everyone at Maryhill FC 👏👏👏
