Right now there are 3000+ ⚾️ players in the NCAA transfer portal. Some, I’m sure, are leaving a place that valued them with an assumption they’ll land somewhere “better”…trying to stand out against 3000+ portal players, JUCO players, international players, & HS recruits. Crazy.
Transfers, I read you’re “looking for a home”. Home = security, being wanted, loved, valued, & expected to contribute to family goals. Does home = where you want to go OR where you’re valued, wanted, loved, secure, expected to contribute? Grass is greener where you water it🔥
@GoPeaceBaseball uniforms are 🔥🔥🔥 ready to lace em up and watch the Pacers get some dirt on these bad boys while we chase a conference championship again. #Saddleup
Amazing how many ppl think D3 teams are full of players that aren’t D1/D2 caliber. Winning D3 programs are full of the same types of players as “higher levels”. NCAA labels schools w/ division classifications b/c of a school’s financial resources, not b/c there’s lesser talent.
He had 95 pitches through 5 1/3. Yanks ⬇️ 3-0 in ⬆️ of 6th w/ runner on 1B, one out, & clean up batter otw to the dish. XBH or Jack potentially puts game out of reach w/ 9 outs left for the Reds to get on D to earn a W. Probs Reds 3rd time thru offensive line up too. It was time.
I know a player who:
- Was recruited by colleges at every level
- Picked a D3 school
- Started every game for four years at the D3 school
- Played in an elite summer league
- Was invited to a pre-draft showcase
- Signed a professional contract
He got it right!
High School coach is ALWAYS the first call. And baseball isn’t a part of the conversation. Questions asked: How is he as a student? How is he as a teammate? How is his body language? How does he handle coaching when it’s corrective? Any off the field issues? How’s the family?
