    This afternoon a young woman tragically lost her life. We do not know all of the details. There is body-worn camera footage of the incident. We are working to review it as soon as possible. BCI is on the scene conducting an independent investigation . . .

    We must stay the course of maintaining social distancing, washing hands and wearing facial coverings. So today I am signing an executive order to mandate face coverings in Columbus.

    This is great news for the City of Columbus. As I have said repeatedly over the past year, the Crew SC belongs in Columbus. There are many details to work out, but I am grateful for the Columbus Partnership, Dee and Jimmy Haslam, Pete Edwards, Jr. and all of the loyal fans.

    Kason Thomass has been found! Many thanks to Chief Bryant, @ColumbusPolice, Ohio State Highway Patrol, law enforcement from across Ohio, the FBI and Indianapolis Metro Police - and to all those whose tips led police to find Kason. ❤️

    We are implementing a city-wide curfew from 10 p.m.to 6 a.m. beginning tonight. We respect, value and welcome the right to protest. This curfew is not intended to stifle peaceful protest but to protect our people.
