- Another war on Gaza. More disproportionate violence. More disproportionate deaths, injuries and property destruction. More human misery. More silence from the West. The path to peace is through justice and human rights, which starts with ending the medieval blockade of Gaza.
- Aggression by one state against another is a clear violation of the fundamental principles of international law. So is occupation and annexation by a state over territory that doesn't belong to it, whether it is Russia in Ukraine or Israel in Palestine.
- Are you amused by the single-minded focus on Russian violations of international law? Me neither. International law is not a menu a la carte: it applies with equal force to the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

- Al Jazeera has published a fine article on the campaign targeting UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese for her human rights advocacy. Scratch a critic of the UN's work on Palestine, and you will find a staunch defender of the Israeli occupation.
- Yet another attack on Palestinian civil society. Yet another attempt to silence well-respected Palestinian voices critical of the 55 year old occupation. I welcome the concern shown by EU member states and UN agencies, but only accountability with teeth will make a difference.
