    #VeryAsian is simply about flipping the words of a racist voicemail. It is not political, divisive, or unAmerican. In fact, we use it to show that #VeryAsian is #VeryAmerican. Don't get it twisted. We all deserve to bring our full humanity to spaces, including #AANHPI folks!

    It's subtle but people do notice! Something small but representation matters...we are not all eating cornbread, my friends... though it is delicious.

    My mom died unexpectedly two years ago today. And I just needed to say it because I miss her so much that sometimes it feels very dark without her.
