- 48 hours ago Mikai was undergoing open heart surgery. Today with the amazing assistance of @uiowa Childrens PT staff Mikai is walking the halls. Definitely puts so much into perspective. Proud of you buddy. Daddy loves you โฆ.. Thank you all again for the continued support and

00:00- 3.5 weeks ago we walked into the university of Iowa childrenโs hospital not knowing what to expect. 13.5 hr surgery later this little rockstar came out ready to rock. In the pediatric icu for 2 weeks and he was moved to the discharge floor. After a couple days had a set back.....
- The difference of 2 nights. This kid is doing so well. For almost 4 years this kid has overcame all obstacles. We know there will be many more obstacles this hospital stay and as he continues to grow. But these accomplishments we celebrate. #TeamMikai #CHD

00:00 - 10 days ago we walked into @uiowa childrenโs hospital for Mikai to have his 3rd open heart surgery. Today he was able to leave the hospital. He is on a couple more meds but other than that is doing r a lot well. This kid is truly a badass. Thank you for all the prayers and well
00:00 - I am blessed to get to work with and help some of the best baseball players in the country. Get to work with the best organization @TheCanesBB in the country. Have relationships with many college baseball coaches in the country. And have the best kids. And then there is my hero.
