I am so speechless why the UK and the EU that should lead the way in freedom tech and innovation are on the opposite path. With all KYC/AML measurements only 1% of illicit money is ever caught. The most useless, ineffective and expensive measurements ever created.

KYC/AML laws were meant to stop drug cartels and terrorists. But over time, they’ve turned into a massive global surveillance system that hurts regular people, locks out the poor & barely catches real criminals. Today, you have to prove you’re not a criminal just to open a bank

@hdd_edy Edy introduced me to this new architecture in early 2023. At first, I thought, "Too good to be true." Then I wondered, "Why didn’t web3 start with this 10 years ago?" The L1 platform approach has caused so much fragmentation in web3 that interoperability alone can’t fix.
