    Nintendo's PR team is blatantly lying to you. Emulation is not illegal and every attempt made by Nintendo to fight it in court (and god knows they've tried) has failed. Slippi likewise does not require piracy to operate. I repeat: Nintendo. Is. Lying. To. You. #FreeMelee

    Fun fact of the day! Did you know in Fire Emblem, Ike is fast and has projectiles, but these traits were removed in Super Smash Bros. as director Sakurai felt a fast projectile swordsman would be too strong? He then went and added Cloud in the very next fucking game. Fascinating!

    I've tuned into exactly one Mang0 stream, where he was reverently talking about how he loved dropping into bars alone and just downing 4-5 beers as a casual thing to do. It's always been obvious that he has a problem, and a community which enables it isn't healthy (1/2)

    Fun fact of the day! Did you know that despite being slower than Mario in Super Smash Bros., Doctor Mario actually weighs exactly the same? This is a reference to the countless lives he was unable to save during his medical career, which weigh heavily on his soul. Fascinating!

    Fun fact of the day! Did you know that Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai was originally hesitant to introduce a fighter from the Animal Crossing series, as he did not feel they would be possible to add in a satisfying way? He was, in retrospect, correct. Fascinating!

    Am I wrong in saying this is Nintendo’s least innovative console ever? That hasn’t generally been their strength in the console world but makes a lot more sense in handheld space. I like it, but probably the least Wow Factor™ I’ve ever gotten from one of these.
